The Sitzmark Salem been touring nationally for 6 years at festival, club and action sports events from the group's home inBoulder, Colorado. The band performs Todd Anders Johnson's socially-conscious compositions blending hip-hop,jazz and neo-soul. Such events include the X-Games, North Face Masters of Snowboarding and Tailgate Alaska.The band has been traveling with Risan Project tours which include Salem concerts, ski and snowboard filmpremiers and presentations from environmental organizations such as Protect Our Winters, the Nantucket LandCouncil and The Climate Project. The Risan Project is touring with the sponsorship of SunCore Solar, the world's first light powered cell phone technology and has begun performing select events on solar powered stages. 24 Get the Girls Out 03:30 P.M. to 05:30 P.M. On Mountain SheJumps.org proudly presents Get the Girls Out. The mission: to increase female participation in outdoor activities. Theme: Fairies and Princesses. This GTGO is going to be different! It's Chair 3 only, so our girls who are injured can hang in the sunshine and costumes on the Sitzmark deck! You have options: Try a new discipline: snowboard, tele or alpine! Coach/mentor a new person to a discipline! Bring out your littlest fairies and princesses to take Chair 3 by storm! Or get coached in the park and pipe on the ride you are most comfortable on! I will need volunteers to help coach in terrain parks and instructors willing to float for snowboard, tele and alpine! I want to encourage ALL abilities, all disciplines, all ages, and even our fallen sisters on crutches to partake in your fairy wings and glitter dust! During his childhood, Michal's father exposed him to a wide variety of Eastern and Western music, giving his son fertile soil in which to plant his musical visions early on. Coming from a musical background of playing guitar, keyboards, and dabbling in a variety of other instruments gave Michal Menert a unique approach to composing his own musical style.
