Beacon & Eggs Avalanche Awareness Clinic Saturday, January 26, 2013 09:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. - The Hotel Alyeska Join us in the Kahiltna Court of The Hotel Alyeska for an avalanche awareness presentation and discussion presented by Alyeska Resort Snow Safety. Breakfast burritos, coffee and juice will be provided. Topics include an overview of Alyeska's Snow Safety Program for the ski area, recognizing avalanche terrain in the backcountry, and where to learn more about the avalanche problem. After the presentation, head up the Tram and test your beacon skills in the snow. Be prepared to ride, bring your beacon-shovel-probe if you have them, and your lift pass. This clinic is free (not including lift ticket to access the tram and upper mountain) and open to the public.
