Access some of Alaska's best backcountry and wildlife with this 1/2 day trip. Choice of two tours: Penguin River, featuring a 2000 feet climb to the high alpine meadows of Hidden Valley or "Sanctuary" featuring a short hike down to a clear water pool with a spectacular waterfall. The three-hour tours include a hike down to a waterfall where salmon come to spawn from mid-June through September.
Our tours often have very good luck seeing bears, moose and eagles from the overlook. Tours are limited to small groups to ensure a quality experience. Tour departures are available at 10 am and 2 pm, evening tours available on request. Two-seater quad bike's are also available for under age kids and people wishing to just relax and enjoy the view (passenger fee required).
