Join Chugach Powder Guides for a snowcat or helicopter adventure in the world-famous Chugach Mountain Range.  Their exclusive-use permit area covers miles of mountain terrain with gentle bowls, giant mountain faces, massive glaciers and sheltered tree skiing.  The guides are highly trained and have extensive Alaskan experience.  At Chugach Powder Guides, their goal is to make your backcountry adventure exciting, safe and memorable.  They want you to see why Alaska’s mountains are recognized for having some of the best backcountry skiing and snowboarding in the world!

From January to April 2010, the following options are available through the Concierge Desk at The Hotel Alyeska:

Full Day Heli Skiing/Riding
Guaranteed 16,000 to 20,000 vertical feet of skiing. Lunch is included.
Rate: $1075 per person

Full Day Snowcat Skiing/Riding
Enjoy the comfort of the heated snowcat as it transports you to their exclusive snowcat area for a full day of backcountry skiing/riding.  Lunch is included. 
Reserved Day Rate: $325 per person
Standby Day Rate: $285 per person

Chugach Powder Guides offers a selection of week-lon helicopter and snowcat skiing trips. Please visit CPG on the second floor of The Hotel Alyeska, across from the Alyeska Mountain Shop.

 
Heli Week Package #1
Arrive Saturday, Ski Sunday – Saturday, Depart Sunday. Includes eight nights accommodations at The Hotel Alyeska. 80,000 to 100,000 vertical feet of skiing guaranteed.

Heli Week Package #2
Arrive Sunday, Ski Monday – Friday, Depart Saturday. Includes six nights accommodations at The Hotel Alyeska. 50,000 to 60,000 vertical feet of skiing guaranteed.

Heli & Snowcat Combo Packages
Includes six nights of deluxe lodging at The Hotel Alyeska, and two (2) days of helicopter skiing/riding and three (3) days of snowcat skiing/riding, use of avalanche transceiver, lunch on ski days, and round-trip transportation from Anchorage International Airport.
