Nordic Skiing

Nordic skiing has deep-roots in this region of the state. The extensive trail systems in Anchorage are world-class featuring over 130 km of trails. Anchorage is home to two-time Olympian, Kikkan Randall, and hosted the U.S. cross-country skiing championships in 2009 and will also host the 2010 championships, the final U.S. Olympic team qualifier before the 2010 Olympics.

From The Hotel Alyeska, guests can conveniently access the trail system in Moose Meadows. Located just across the hotel main entrance, Moose Meadows is an open expanse with groomed trails for Nordic and snowshoeing. Trail maps are available at the Concierge and Front Desk.

Gear Rentals

Guests can rent a complete Nordic Ski Package including boots, poles and skis at the Alyeska Rental Shop located on the 2nd floor of the hotel.
