yoga_sessions_poseAlyeska is hosting a series of 75 minute Vinyasa flow yoga sessions. Vinyasa flow links breath and movement, strengthening and opening the body while calming the mind. Expect the unexpected in this fun and creative practice! Explore the breadth of poses and sequencing that are part of this broad and diverse style of yoga, including twists, inversions, arm balances and restorative poses. Sometimes poses are held and sometimes the flow is more like a dance. Music and poetry are used to deepen the experience.

Vinyasa Flow Class Description
Expect a sweaty, challenging practice that is suitable for both total beginners and  experienced practitioners. Refrain from eating anything more than a light snack two hours prior to practice and wear clothing that is comfortable and stretchy. Please arrive ten minutes early for class to set up and to make the instructor aware of any injuries or conditions you may be working with. 

Sunday Evening Restorative Yoga
Restorative Yoga is different from most traditional classes in that we don't explore as many standing postures. This is a practice that stays low to the floor works deep into the tissues and joints of the body. Each posture is typically held for 4-10 minutes and is completely supported by props, postures are held for extended periods of time to allow for muscular release. Once muscles release connective tissue is able to receive the benefits of the posture. This class is a stress BUSTER and is great for post-ski recovery.

Private Yoga Lessons

Expand and evolve your practice with one-on-one private yoga lessons uniquely chosen to meet your specific needs. Private yoga sessions provide a setting in which your individuality can be addressed and through consistent private instruction students can expect to gradually and effectively increase strength, endurance and range of motion.
