Fungus Fair is a weekend of forays, naturalist presentations and workshops exploring the world of mushrooms. Events are based out of the Daylodge unless otherwise noted.
This year's guest speakers include Dr. Steve Trudell the PNW "Fungus Master" and co-author of the Mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest and Dr. Else Vellinga, a researcher at the University of California Berkely who specializes in fungal conservation and phylogeny, taxonomy and biogeography of lepiotaceous fungi. The weekend will also feaure a slew of local experts including: Tanya Zastro (mushroom dye expert from Cordova), Dominique Collet (AK Naturalist), and Ken Gill (mushroom cultivation).
