Alyeska Resort offers one of the longest winter ski seasons in North America. Last year, the resort reached 880" of snowfall with 165 days of operation. The resort has been enjoying an unusually sunny winter season and has daily operations planned through April 24, 2011 with a host of closing weekend festivities including Spring Carnival and the not-to-be-missed Slush Cup competition. May skiing is scheduled to start May 6th, operating Fridays to Sundays through Memorial Day Weekend (conditions permitting).

If you are a working member of the press and planning to visit Alyeska Resort, please send us a letter of assignment via email as early as possible so that we can help you. Please note that a minimum of five days notice is required and no comps will be issued during holiday periods. Opportunities for commercial filming, video or photography are available at Alyeska Resort and in the surrounding valley. Rate schedules vary according to crew sizes and medium. Please note: any unauthorized individuals or crews conducting commercial filming, video or photography will be fined.
