Their exclusive-use permit area covers miles of mountain terrain with gentle bowls, giant mountain faces, massive glaciers and sheltered tree skiing. The guides are highly trained and have extensive Alaskan experience. At Chugach Powder Guides, their goal is to make your backcountry adventure exciting, safe and memorable. They want you to see why Alaskas mountains are recognized for having some of the best backcountry skiing and snowboarding in the world!


The following options are available throughthe Concierge Desk at The Hotel Alyeska:

Full Day Heli Skiing/Riding
Guaranteed 16,000 to 18,000 vertical feet of skiing. Lunch is included. Available beginning in February, conditions permitting.

Full Day Snowcat Skiing/Riding
Enjoy the comfort of the heated snowcat as it transports you to their exclusive snowcat area for a full day of backcountry skiing/riding. Hot gourmet lunch is included. Available beginning in January, conditions permitting.

Chugach Powder Guides offers a selection of week-long helicopter and snowcat skiing trips. Please visit CPG on the second floor of The Hotel Alyeska, across from the Alyeska Mountain Shop.
