Thursday Nights | 6 - 8 pm

The 2013 Coors Light Town League is the most fun you can have on Thursday nights during ski season. This seven week gate racing league is open to alpine skiers, snowboarders and telemarkers. Races are every Thursday night from January 17 to March 7 from 6 - 8 pm. After the races, head to the Sitzmark and relive the thrill of victory and agony of defeat on the television screens and have a chance to win great weekly door prizes.  League Details
RACE DATES:  Jan. 17, 24, 31, Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28 Mar. 7

ELIGIBILITY: Age 21 & up. Open to alpine, snowboard and Telemark racers.

DIVISIONS: Alpine men's & women's (a, b & c) a= experienced racer, b=expert skier with some gate experience and c=intermediate skier with no gate experience.

TEAMS/INDIVIDUALS: Teams consist of 7 (seven) people, with each gender represented: (i.e.: 5 men 2 female or 6 men 1 female etc) the top 5 finishes, which include both genders, accumulate Team points.  A person may compete as an individual without a team accumulating individual points.  A team member automatically accumulates individual points for competing with the team.

COST:  $80 PER PERSON (Lift tickets not included)

Fees provide the following:
• Video of race for viewing at the Sitzmark 
• Eligibility for weekly prize drawings
• 2 hours of pre-race practice (3-5 pm)
• Overall series awards
• Town League T-shirt
• Free après ski live music from Eternal Cowboys on Jan. 17, 24, 31 Feb. 7, 14, 21, 28 Mar. 7 
• Town League Final Party with live music and complimentary food for participants on Mar. 7

RACE DAY TIMELINE
4 - 5 pm: Practice race course
5 - 6 pm: Course re-set
6 - 8 pm: Race (two runs)
9 pm: Race results, race video and prize drawings at the Sitzmark (must race that night to be eligible for prize drawings).

POINTS: Teams will accumulate points for the best of five finishes for their team that represent both genders.  Individual points are accumulated by how the racer finishes in their class: 1st = 25, 2nd = 23, 3rd- = 22 and 2 point difference between finishes down to 6 points.  Everyone receives at least 6 points for competing.
