Skiers and riders have started a countdown to opening day, while the avid hikers and bikers would prefer to extend their season for just a few weeks more. Between mid-September and opening day at the ski area, scheduled for Wednesday, November 23, 2011 (conditions permitting), Alyeska Resort offers Alaskans aggressive deals on lodging and a tranquil experience without the hustle and bustle of summer visitors. A short 40 miles, along the scenic Seward Highway, the resort offers Southcentral locals a getaway without the hassle of busy summer crowds.
The Hotel Alyeska’s featured amenities, including the saltwater pool, on-property full-service spa and select restaurants, keep business going strong in the fall. The surrounding nature trails from the popular Winner Creek Trail to the active North Face Trail are open to the public. The Getaway Package reflects 30% in savings and includes an one-night stay and $50 in resort credit valid on purchases throughout the resort including dining, shopping, spa services and more. Standard rooms are available starting from $149 per night and deluxe rooms from $169 per night based on double occupancy.
Veuve Clicquot Romance Package – Recognized by Travelocity as one of the most romantic hotels in the U.S. , The Hotel Alyeska tempts local couples with the affordable and luxurious Veuve Clicquot Romance Package. The resort credit can be applied for purchases at the resort including dining and shopping. The package is available starting from $289 per night per family.
Stress Relief Package – This package bundles an upgraded room at The Hotel Alyeska with $100 in credit valid for any treatment or service of your choice at the spa. The Spa at Alyeska offers classic treatments such as relaxation or deep tissue massages, Alaska Glacial™ Facials, as well as specialty bundles such as the Trilogy or Art of Lift Packages which combine a number of select services for a complete experience.
