In addition to the pre-season sales price, there are two special offers that will increase the savings on season pass purchases. The new and improved Buddy Discount allows two or more individuals to receive an additional savings on top of the pre-season sale price when they purchase season passes together. On the purchase of adult passes, the additional discount is $50 off each participating pass. For senior, senior 70+, military, college, student, child, midweek adult, midweek senior, midweek military and midweek college, each participating pass receives an additional $25 off. To receive the Buddy Discount, all participating passes must be purchased at the same time and on one transaction.
The popular Perfect Family Discount (PFD) is also available this year offering families the opportunity to save 50% off on up to two dependant passes with the purchase of a regularly priced parent or guardian season pass. For full details on the available special offers, please visit AlyeskaResort.com.
The Powder Pass is an economic option for recreational skiers and riders who want to save on daily lift tickets without the full commitment of a season pass. There are now two types of Ten X Powder Passes – unlimited and midweek. The unlimited Powder Pass, retails for $450, is valid for skiing and riding any day of the week and the new midweek version, $400, allows for use on Monday to Friday during the season. The regular Powder Pass offers a 25% off the day ticket rate of $60 and the midweek Powder Pass offers an even greater savings of 33% off per midweek day. The Powder Pass features the same direct-to-lift convenience of a season pass and can be transferred between users limited to one user per day. Powder Pass holders can reload their passes with five or ten additional days at a time anytime during the season.
The other new feature on the Powder Pass is the ability to rollover unused days to the next winter season. The rollover will come in the form of a credit that will be redeemable when the pass holder renews their Powder Pass for the following season. For example, if there are three unused days left on a 2010-11 Ten X Powder Pass, the pass holder will receive a credit of $135 (three days x $45 per unused day) which will be applied at the time of the renewal for the 2011-12 Ten X Powder Pass. This feature adds convenience and flexibility for the pass holder to hold onto unused days.
Alyeska Resort will be at Dimond Center Mall offering customers the convenience of an in-town location. The sales booth will be open on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) starting October 23, 2010. The booth hours are scheduled from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Customers will be able to purchase and pick-up season passes, Ten X Powder Passes and Alyeska Resort Gift Cards, and payments in the form of credit cards, check and cash will be accepted. For the week of Thanksgiving, November 20 to 28, the booth will be open daily except for Thursday, November 25 to observe Thanksgiving Day. And for the holiday rush, the booth will also be open daily from December 11 to 24. Christmas, the booth will be open daily from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
