Alyeska Resort’s 2011/12 Season Pass Sale Ends October 31
October 21, 2013 (Girdwood, Alaska) – The termination dust creeping down the surrounding mountain peaks is an obvious signal that winter is approaching and Alyeska Resort is looking forward to the start of the 2013/14 ski season. Opening day is scheduled for November 28, 2013 with chairlifts scheduled to run from 10:30 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
Frequent guests and avid skiers and snowboarders are attracted to the ease and savings that come with the purchase of a season pass.
The Season Pass Sale will end Thursday, October 31, 2013, with regular season pass pricing going into effect on November 1 through the end of the 2013/14 ski season.
The Season Pass Sale rates valid for unlimited skiing and riding during the 2013/14 season are as follows: Adult $1250 (regular season rate of $1375), Student Passes (ages of 13 to 18) cost $1000 (regular season rate of $1125), and Child Passes (ages of six to 12) cost $540 (regular season rate of $615). Seniors (ages 60 to 69), College and Military Passes are all offered at $1000 (regular season rate of $1125). An Adult Midweek Pass costs $900, which will increase to $1000 after October 31, and Seniors (ages 60 to 69), College, and Military Midweek Passes are $700 (regular season rate of $800). The Super Senior Pass for those age 70 and over costs $300 and will increase to $315. Transferrable business passes are also available and do not increase in price after the October 31 deadline.
As an additional way to save, the resort will continue to offer the popular family-oriented special, the Perfect Family Discount. The “PFD” special provides 50% off savings on one or two dependent passes when purchased with a regular season priced parent/guardian pass. Qualifying dependent pass types include: College, Student, and Child; qualifying parent/guardian pass types include: Adult, Senior 60-69, and Military. The PFD special is available through December 31, 2013 and does not apply to midweek season passes.
The Buddy Discount, which offers $50 or $25 off the purchase of two or more season passes at the same time, will also be available for 2013/14season passes. Purchasers will receive $50 off each Adult Unlimited Pass and $25 off the following pass types: Adult Midweek, Senior 70+, Senior (60-69) Unlimited and Midweek, Military Unlimited and Midweek, College Unlimited and Midweek, Student (13-18), and Children (6-12). The Buddy Discount is also available through December 31, 2013.
The Ten X Unlimited and Midweek Powder Passes offer up to 10 days of direct-to-lift access, a great solution for recreational skiers and snowboarders who visit the resort between three and 10 times per season. Powder Passes are tied to one user and are non-transferrable.
The unlimited Ten X Powder Pass costs $600, a $10 savings per weekend lift ticket, and the midweek version is priced at $500, a $10 savings per midweek lift ticket. After 10 days of use, pass holders can choose to reload their Powder Pass with an additional five or 10 days of access.
For 2012/13 Powder Pass holders with unused days, the opportunity to rollover unused days is available through October 31, 2013. The value of the total unused days can be applied towards the purchase of a new or renewal Powder Pass.
The convenience of direct-to-lift access combined with payment options like Powder Cache and Resort Charge make visits to Alyeska Resort satisfying and seamless for customers. Season passholders can load Powder Cache onto their season pass and use it at any Alyeska Resort outlet including, but not limited to, dining, spa services, lift tickets, lodging, ski school lessons, and retail. Another payment option is Resort Charge, which allows passholders to tie their season pass to a credit card and use it at any Alyeska Resort outlet.
