Alyeska Resort unveils 2011/2012 winter line-up of musical acts at the Sitzmark
December 7, 2011 (Girdwood, Alaska) – The Sitzmark Bar & Grill at Alyeska Resort has established itself as worthy music venue with a strong line-up featuring well-established national acts as well as local’s favorite Anchorage-based bands. With a casual ambiance, bar games and classic ski paraphernalia decor, the “Sitz” – as it’s fondly called by locals – has also grown into a formidable convert venue in Southcentral Alaska. The bar features over a dozen draft beers, full bar and new this winter, late night snacks.
The diverse music line-up for the 2011/2012 season includes a healthy mix of local Alaska bands and legendary national acts. Concerts at the Sitzmark start at 10:00 P.M. with doors open at 9:00 P.M. for guests ages 21 and over. Tickets for Sitzmark concerts can be purchased online at the resort website, at the Sitzmark or any Alyeska Ticket Office and by phone at 907-754-2275.
