Alyeska is open for top to bottom skiing and riding once again today, so come on out and join us for a day of play. The options are endless to get you to the groomed goods or to your off piste happy place. The Tram, Ted’s Express, Glacier Bowl Express, Bear Cub Quad and Finnland Magic Carpet are all spinning from 10:30 am to 5:30 pm. Wade’s Way Magic Carpet by the Daylodge will also run from 10:30am-4:30pm for beginners and learners or those trying new skills. The Daylodge Progression Park, Sitz Park, and Pump Station 3 Terrain Park have all been opened as well! Beginner runs, intermediate runs, hikable terrain, jibs, jabs, and race courses, we have something for everyone's needs and skill levels at Alyeska! All operating lifts will start spinning at 10:30 this morning so grab your buddies, get off the couch, and come join us for a day of play!
The Inside
Tomorrow marks the first Monday of the Month, which means Military Monday! We would like to invite all active and retired military to join us today for Military Monday where not only will you and your family be skiing and snowboarding for FREE with your valid Military ID, but we are also offering a $20 rental and lesson package as well! When you're tired from a long day on the slopes, we would also like to invite you to stay the night with us this evening at the Hotel Alyeska with room rates starting at $99 with your valid military ID. Please call the Mountain Learning Center (754-2280) for more information regarding rentals and lessons, and the reservations department (754-2111) for more rates and availability at the Hotel.
Events Join us every tonight and every Sunday night at the The Sitzmark for Industry Night with free pool, foosball and the oh-so-popular Cornhole tournament where you will battle it out with the best for prizes. We have some great shows coming up at the Sitz in which you do NOT want to miss out on! The Deadphish Orchestra will be rocking the house this next Thursday-Saturday and the return of Jerry Joseph & The Jack Mormons who will be joining us from March 12th-14th. Each of these shows have a Thursday night session which is LADIES NIGHT! Grab your girlfriends and come down for some Thursday tunes where the ladies get in FREE! And as if THAT is not enough, each Thursday night show one lucky winner will receive 25,000 Alaska Airlines miles from Jameson and the Odom Corporation!! The Dining Options are endless this weekend at Alyeska! Whether you are on top of the mountain, at the Hotel, or finishing up at the base of the lifts, we have you covered. In the Hotel you can start your morning off right with an amazing sit-down breakfast at The Pond Cafe or if you are in a hurry to hit the slopes you can find a quick bite and coffee at the Tramway Cafe. The Aurora Bar and Grill, also located in the Hotel, is open for both lunch and dinner (not to mention Sunday Brunch!), and Sakura will be open thru Monday for dinner as well. At the top of the mountain you have the Bore Tide Deli open for lunch, and Seven Glaciers open for lunch and dinner. If you're ending your day on the slopes or just taking a break for lunch, be sure to stop by the Sitzmark for some apre ski slopeside food!
Aerial Tram 10:30am-5:30pm Open Taking you right from the hotel to winter, our 60 person tram is the quickest route up to winter. Glide back to the base of the Hotel on Blueberry Hill. Seven Glaciers is open tonight and through the weekend. The Tram will load skiers and riders until 5:30, and Seven Glacier's diners until 9:30 tonight.
Glacier Bowl Express 10:30am-5:30pm Open Access the goods and cruise on up to 2,750 feet on the quad! This lift services intermediate and advanced runs.
Ted's Express 10:30am-5:30pm Open This is the quick route to all the mid mountain trails, and also a way to access the intermediate and advanced terrain via GBX
Bear Cub Quad 10:30am-5:30pm Open Bear Cub Quad is running to get you out on all of our beginner terrain as well as Pump Station 3 and the Sitz Terrain Park!
