Now Open for Summer Operations

Anchorage EO-15:

We’re proud to be following protocols adherent to mandates put forth by the Municipality of Anchorage over the last few weeks and months which are in place to protect the health and wellness of the citizens of the local area.

The most recent mandate, Emergency Order 15, has been implemented by Mayor Burkowitz with the goal of limiting group sizes and indoor dining. Pursuant to EO-15, starting Monday, August 3rd, we will be limiting our dining options to room service and to go food from Tramway Café. Sakura Asian Bistro will be also available for to go orders and room service dining and will begin serving guests at 4 p.m. There will be no service at The Pond Café for breakfast or dinner. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

Your safety and comfort, as well as our team's, remains our top priority. As such, we have taken many measures to ensure to follow all municipal requirements. We have a vast hospitality experience spanning over 60 years, as well as world-class experts on sanitization working closely with us on ensuring that our sanitization protocols go above and beyond.

Pursuant to municipal orders by Mayor Berkowitz and EO-13, we will be requiring face masks be worn inside all public spaces at all times.

As such, some aspects of the Resort's experience will be different. We thank you for your collaboration and understanding. We look forward to seeing you again and sharing the pristine Chugach Mountains with you!

How Have cleaning protocols changed?

As we carefully re-open the hotel, we have made a few changes to our operations to ensure help keep everyone safe. So things will look a little different. But the warmth and quality of service remain the same. Following all health authorities guidelines, and in partnership with hygiene and safety experts,  we have updated & redefined our sanitization protocols, as well as our increased cleaning frequency.
We have added physical distancing signage throughout public spaces, and partitions at our front desks. And we have invested in rigorous training for our team to keep everyone safe and well informed. Hand washing protocols have also been increased, ensuring our team remains as safe as possible.
Hand sanitizer is available throughout the resort for your safety and convenience.
As you know, we are in this together. As such, we ask that you do not come to the Resort if you have any symptoms, or have been in contact with someone who has contracted COVID-19. Guests displaying any symptoms will have to follow the State protocols, and we will notify the health authorities of any cases or suspected cases as required.

Thank you all for the kind words of encouragement and support. We are looking forward to welcoming you back!
