Ground Transportation

Once you have landed, whether by plane or boat, getting to Alyeska Resort is easy. Choose from car and RV rentals to chauffeured transportation. Our Concierge Desk can arrange for your preferred ground transportation to/from anywhere in the state. You can reach the Concierge at 907-754-2108 or via email.

For public transportation in and around the Resort and the town of Girdwood, learn more about the Glacier Valley Transit. This service is complimentary for guests staying at The Hotel Alyeska.

Car Rentals

All rental car companies listed above are located in the new Rental Car Center across from the South Terminal. Free Airport shuttle buses travel between the South Terminal, North Terminal, and the Rental Car Center every 15 minutes daily (24-hours a day). For more information, click here.

Four Seasons Transportation Group
Guests of The Hotel Alyeska receive a special rate with Four Seasons Transportation Group. Vans and SUVs are available 24 hours a day seven days a week with advanced reservations. Rates start at $90 one-way. They can also 'meet and greet' your group at baggage claim at the Anchorage Airport for an addtional fee. Reservations can be made through Alyeska Resort.

BAC Limousines
Upgrade your transportation to a limousine, stretch hummer or an executive sedan. Advanced reservations are available 24 hours a day seven days a week. All airport transfers include either a 4x6 or 5x8 luggage trailer for excess luggage, one bottle of water for each passenger and a local newspaper available upon request. Rates start at $207 for a seven passenger SUV Sedan and start at $240 for a ten passenger limousine. You may review their fleet at www.baclimoandbus.com. Reservations can be made through Alyeska Resort.

Checker Cab
Guests of The Hotel Alyeska receive a special rate with Checker Cab. Simply choose the orange Checker Cab at the airport and come to the front desk of the hotel upon arrival to arrange payment. Available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.

The Magic Bus
For larger groups, the Magic Bus offers mid-size and full size motor coaches.  Prices will vary with group size and pick up times.

Summer Season
The Hotel Alyeska works with a variety of coach bus companies to provide express service to Seward and Homer. Please contact the Concierge for more information, rates and to make reservations, call 907-754-2108.

Parks Connection
This coach bus offers express service to Seward. Pick-up is at the Tesoro Gas Station.

Seward Bus Line
This coach bus offers express service to Seward. Pick-up is at the Tesoro Gas Station.

Homer Stage Line
This coach bus offers express service to Seward and Homer and Seward. Pick-up is at the Tesoro Gas Station.

Alaska Railroad

The Alaska Railroad offers the most scenic way to see the Alaska coastline and other major attractions. For your convenience, Girdwood has its own train station and hotel guests can arrange for pick-up and drop-offs depending on your itinerary.
