Winter is an exciting time at Alyeska Resort! Whether you're ringing in the new year at the Torchlight Parade or closing the ski season in style at Spring Carnival, there is always something fun happening at Alyeska in winter.
Santa Skis Free & Santa Visits Alyeska (Thursday, Dec. 19)
Dress as Santa and ski for FREE all day. It’s an Alyeska tradition to have all of Santa’s helpers enjoy the start of the holiday season on our slopes. It’s a jolly day of skiing and riding with so many red suits and white beards on Mt. Alyeska.
Winter Break (December 20th, 2019 - January 5th, 2020)
Happy Winter Break! Come ski under the lights with us every night during winter break! Night skiing is available from December 20 through January 5 from 4pm to 8pm, except on NYE!
Torchlight Parade & New Year's Eve Fireworks (December 31st, 2019)

Valentine's Day at Alyeska (February 14, 2020)
Enjoy 2 for 1 lift tickets all day, dinner and lodging specials.
Alyeska Banked Slalom (April 4 & 5)
Alyeska's annual spring competition, for snowboarders only. Competitors challenge themselves and each other on an upper mountain slalom course.
Easter Sunday (April 12, 2020)
Celebrate Easter at Alyeska will sunrise service at the top of the Aerial Tramway, followed by an Easter Egg hunt in the Hotel Courtyard and Easter Brunch served throughout the Hotel.
Spring Carnival (April 17 - 19)
Alyeska Resort embraces spring in typical Alaskan fashion. Spring Carnival takes advantage of the long days with extended hours of lift operations, great spring-skiing conditions, and Alyeska’s largest and most popular winter event, Alaska Airlines Slush Cup, where competitors dressed in zany costumes attempt to skim across a 90-foot long pool of freezing water. Other activities include the Sitzmark Costume Party, Idiot Swim, Dummy Downhill, XTRATUF Pull Tug-of-War, live music, and more!
