How to book a lesson
How to book a lessonOnline pre-registration for Ski classes are available online (CLICK HERE). At this time, all snowboard lessons are only available for purchase on the day of (in person). Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
Advance Purchase Recommended: Online booking must be purchased by 1 pm the day before your visit.
Day-of lesson add-ons and modifications are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Booking lessons the day of (in person) will still be an option based on availability. For the best availability please book in advance. Availability of lessons becomes tighter closer to the date, especially over weekends and holidays.
IMPORTANT! Please remember to arrive at the Daylodge Mountain Learning Center Desk for your lesson at least 45 minutes prior to lesson time to give yourself time to make sure your rentals fit properly.
Make sure to sign a liability release form in advance if you will not be with your child at lesson sign up.

Determine Your Level
Introduction to Skiing & Snowboarding (Magic Carpet Lesson)
Our 2-hour Intro Group Lesson takes place on our magic carpets and is perfect for first-time and learn-to-turn students who are just starting out skiing & snowboarding.
- For Skiers new to the sport or have been on skis and need to learn to turn in both directions and safely come to a stop.
- For Snowboarders new to the sport or have been on a board but need to learn to link turns toe-side, heel-side and safely come to a stop.
Novice Skiing & Snowboarding
Our 2-hour Novice Group Lesson is perfect for those trying to perfect their turns on easy green terrain.
- For Skiers that can link turns, in a wedge on easy green terrain accessed by chairlift (Bear Cub Quad, and Chair 7).
- For Snowboarders that can link toe and heel-side turns, and safely come to a stop on terrain accessed by chairlift (Bear Cub Quad, and Chair 7).
Intermediate (Private Lessons Only):
- For Skiers that are comfortable skiing on Alyeska Blue terrain. Skis are in a parallel relationship most of the time.
- For Snowboarders that are comfortable linking toe and heel-side turns on Alyeska Blue Terrain.
Advanced (Private Lesson Only):
- For Skiers that are comfortable skiing on Black Diamond terrain or higher with parallel skis.
- For Snowboarders that are comfortable linking toe and heel-side turns on Alyeska Black Diamond or higher terrain.
