Heli-Skiing/Cat-Skiing Tours

The world famous Chugach Mountain range covers miles of mountain terrain with alpine bowls, colossal mountain faces, glistening glaciers, sheltered trees and steep powder skiing. Heli-skiing takes you to the mountains with high quality powder snow that adheres well to elevated terrain. Average 10,000 vertical ft of catskiing in over six runs to get a taste of gladed trees, steeps, open powder fields, rocky features and pillows.

Cat Skiing – CPG has offered cat skiing in Girdwood since 1998. Cat skiing is available during seasons with adequate low-elevation snow cover, which has become less dependable in recent years. Cat skiing is primarily sold as a backup to our semi-private package guests. We do our best to make snowcat backup available to charters and day ski groups when possible. Standby snowcat ski seats go on sale on sunny days during the season, once the cat has been released by heli operations.
