Experience Alyeska’s rugged alpine terrain in comfort and style on a guided side-by-side tour from The Hotel Alyeska. Perfect for guests who want big mountain views without the effort of a strenuous hike, this scenic off-road adventure offers an exciting way to explore the resort’s landscape.
Your tour begins with check-in at the Mountain Concierge desk inside The Hotel Alyeska before heading to the Hotel Courtyard, where you’ll meet your guide and hop into your side-by-side. From there, you’ll travel up Chair 3 Road, winding through alpine terrain, seasonal wildflowers, and open mountain scenery as your guide leads the way across the slopes of Alyeska.
Along the route, enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding Chugach Mountains, Girdwood Valley, and Alyeska’s iconic ski terrain as you make your way toward the base of Glacier Bowl Express. This guided experience combines scenic sightseeing, local insight, and light adventure, all from the comfort of a side-by-side vehicle.
The tour takes just over an hour to complete and returns to The Hotel Alyeska, making it an easy and memorable way to experience the mountain.

- Please arrive at the Mountain Concierge Desk on the 2nd floor of the Hotel at LEAST 30 minutes prior to your tour time for check-in
- Picnic Add-ons are available for purchase with this experience. Enjoy a lunch on the mountain!
- Closed-toed shoes are REQUIRED
- Helmets are provided and must be worn while inside the vehicle

- Day-of reservations can be made at the Mountain Concierge desk, but day-of availability is not guaranteed. Reserve in advance when you can!
- The tour takes place in a coastal temperate rainforest. Please dress accordingly by wearing layers and be prepared for the possibility of rain, sun, and everything in between.
