Bird to Gird E-Bike Tour
Level: Beginner

Take in the sweeping beauty of Turnagain Arm on a guided e-bike tour from Alyeska Resort to Bird Point. This scenic 20-mile round-trip ride begins at The Hotel Alyeska and follows the bike path through Girdwood before connecting to the paved Bird to Gird bike trail along the coast.
Led by a knowledgeable local guide, this tour offers a fun, relaxed way to experience some of Southcentral Alaska’s most spectacular scenery. Along the route, you’ll enjoy mountain, ocean, glacier, and forest views while learning about local history, native plants, wildlife, and the unique landscape of the Turnagain Arm. With the help of our new Trek e-bikes, the ride feels smooth and approachable, letting you focus on the views instead of the effort.
The tour travels approximately 10 miles to Bird Point, where you’ll have time to take a break, snap photos, and enjoy the coastal scenery. Depending on the day, you may even catch a glimpse of the famous bore tide, spot beluga whales offshore, or see local wildlife along the way. Guests can also add on a picnic to enjoy during the stop before riding back to the resort.
This 2.5- to 3-hour guided e-bike experience is considered easy to moderate, primarily because of the distance. It’s a great option for guests looking for an active outdoor adventure with plenty of scenery, local insight, and time to enjoy the ride.

Tour De Girdwood
Level: Beginner
AGES: 14+
Cost: $129/person.
TERRAIN: PAVED, DIRT
Time: 2 hours
1pm Daily – Walk-Ups as available.
Distance: 10–15 miles
Includes: 1 Beer at Girdwood Brewing Co.
Experience required: The ability to ride a bike unsupported for short distances. The ability to shift through gears and use hand brakes. Closed-toed shoes are mandatory for this tour.
Chair 3 Challenger

Join one of our guides for an afternoon in Alyeska’s Downhill Bike Park! Using our new full suspension Kona Remote X E-Bikes you’ll follow your guide through Alyeska’s Lower Mountain biking terrain! Enjoy exhilarating turns through the flow trails on our lower mountain, taking in the scenery as you go. New to mountain biking? No worries! Our guides are experienced and capable riders that can coach you through this new and exciting experience.

These bikes support riders with up to 90% of the workload powered by the electric motor, making covering long distances and conquering hills a breeze.
Guest must cancel 48 hours prior to their scheduled tour to avoid a full charge
In the case of unsafe weather, the tours will be post-poned or refunded. Alyeska Resort will determine the safety of the trails.
In Alaska, the minimum age to operate an electric bike is 14 years old.
Alyeska’s Bike Park terrain features a variety of downhill trails for intermediate and advanced riders. Mix it up with a variety of road, single-track and man-made features. Riders can load their bikes onto the Bear Cub Quad & Ted’s Express for the summer!
Riders must be age 8 or older, and helmets are required for all riders. Head to the bike park today for fun for the entire family!
