Mountain Updates

January 21, 2022 – 10:00 am

Good morning Stormtroopers,

We are currently experiencing off-and-on mixed precipitation with warmer temps hovering around freezing point. This precipitation is forecasted to continue throughout today, along with an occasional strong gust of wind. Groomers have smoothed out all main trails for us, top to bottom – wall to wall, but anticipate varying conditions underfoot as you carve your way down to lower elevation.

Please note, the roads are icy so drive carefully and arrive safely!

Grooming: Mighty Mite, Trapline & Silvertip are all groomed off the top. The main trails are groomed from the top of the Tram down to the base. Groomer’s choice today is Trapline!

Outer Areas: Ski patrol is evaluating conditions for a potential opening of the North Face from Chuck’s Gate down. Southside outer areas will continue to be monitored, but are likely to remain closed due to adverse conditions. Check the signboards for more info & as always, please obey all posted signs, rope-lines and closures.

The Nordic 5K is open for XC skiing, grooming is in progress. More info and conditions
